About
I am a visual storyteller and writer with more than 20 years experience in media and communications. I complement my career as a lecturer and media ethicist, with personal and semi-professional photographic and writing projects.
A people watcher at heart, my images favour a documentary style that embraces natural lighting, close quarter shooting and unchoreographed frames.
My photo archive includes images from Obama and the Dalai Lama to temple monkeys, guerrillas, rodeo clowns and street protesters.
LATEST WORK
I, ROHINGYA
August 2021 marks the fourth anniversary of the Rohingya genocide in Myanmar.

Today we launch I, Rohingya – a Queensland-based photojournalism project to amplify the voices of those who have witnessed and continue to live with the shadow of genocide in Rakhine, and to encourage the broader community to learn and stand beside them.
